VINO POP was presented by I like this grape, and co-produced with LisherB Events of Laguna Beach. The one-night event was hosted by a Micah Sampson, a certified sommelier. Sampson walked guests through wines from different AVAs (American Viticulture Areas) of Napa Valley. Guests learned about the unique characteristics of the wines derived from the unique lands on which the grapes are farmed.
VINO POP featured one-of-a-kind small food pairings by chefs Wes Minichiello and Angela Samuels of The Hardware House Kitchen. The creativity of Tablo provided a designed, grazing table of charcuterie, cheeses, crudites and artisanal breads.
Our guests were not stuck behind a table and chair; they were free to float through the chic indoor/outdoor space of the Garage Collective in Laguna Beach. The evening began with chilled LVE Rosé by John Legend & Raymond Vineyards. Guests finished the night by guessing a wine from the classic Rombauer Vineyards. In between beautiful and unique wines from iconic Napa Valley producers Trefethen Family Vineyards and Tamber Bey were poured.
