Our lovely friends couldn’t decide which bottle of Sonoma wine, J Vineyard Brut Rose or MacMurray Pinot Noir to take with them on a quick girls trip to Vegas. The best option, take both! In between invite-only mansion parties and tanning by the pool they had some time to take quick pictures while indulging in these two wines from well established Sonoma County wineries.
J Vineyard Rose Brut
J Vineyards’ been around since the late 80s and are known for their Pinots and Sparkling. The winery was founded in the 80s by Judy Jordan, daughter of famed Jordan Vineyard and Winery founder Tom Jordan. This J Vineyard Brut Rose is made with pinot noir and chardonnay grapes, all grown using sustainable farming practices. This rose is delicate, bubbly, crisp, refreshing, and a perfect tanning companion.
MacMurray Pinot Noir
With this pinot, winemaker Boyd Morrison is hitting on the cylinders of finesse and elegance. The ranch was purchased by famed actor Fred MacMurray in 1941. The winery produces only Pinot Noir as their red wine lineup. Their patient and passionate about the cool-climate pinot noir. This Central Coast pinot was blend of new world (with good red fruits) and rustic old-world charm. Critically acclaimed rating 90 points, it’s a steal at $15. Take a Sip!
